Psychologist-Led Day Program
Sign up for our daily psychological support program with a multidisciplinary approach. This program is aimed at all those seeking therapy and improvement in their mental health on a daily basis, whether for a short period of time (one week) or a long-term commitment (6 months).
You will have comprehensive psychological assistance within a well-organized environment, with daily activities and therapies to improve your mental health.
The Process:
- Psychological Assessments: Comprehensive and holistic assessments conducted by experienced psychologists to understand each individual’s unique needs and challenges and create an individualized program tailored specifically for you.
- Individual Therapy: One-on-one counseling sessions to address specific concerns, explore emotions, thought patterns and behaviours so we can develop enhanced adaptative coping strategies.
- Group Therapy: Therapeutic group sessions facilitated by psychologists to foster peer support, interpersonal skills, and shared learning experiences. Various techniques have proven to be more effective in a group setting, so the combination of group and individual sessions predicts an improvement in symptoms.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Evidence-based therapy focused on identifying and modifying what you might consider unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.
- Specific Therapies: Social skills training, progressive gradual exposure therapy, etc. Different types of therapy will be used based on the patient’s preference and the therapy that best fits the treatment proposed by the therapists.
- Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques: Training in mindfulness practices and relaxation exercises to reduce stress, promote emotional regulation, and enhance overall well-being.
- Psychoeducation: Understanding your issues, learning their underlying causes, and providing you with specific tools for your challenges can help you thrive in ways that make you feel better both in the short and long term.
- Family Therapy: If you wish, we can have sessions with your family or loved ones to advise them on the challenges you are facing and also to enhance your support network.
- Coordination of Other Supportive Services: Assistance in referring to additional mental health services or community resources, if necessary, for even broader support.
