How do the sessions work?
In the first therapy session, we will assess your individual needs and preferences, have a look at what is happening in the present moment, and how your experiences influence the challenges you are currently facing. We will provide you with tools that you can apply in your daily life so that gradually you can integrate them as part of your repertoire without needing our help in the future.
We use an integrative approach drawing from various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and EMDR (Eye Movements Desensitization and Reprocessing) tailored to address thought patterns, emotions, behaviours as well as traumatic experiences.
